In the Pioneer Agronomy Update, Pioneer Strategic Account Manager Cole Ehrlin says the crop is responding to the heat that finally came to the region. “After a week of good weather, most areas are now catching up to the 30-year averages for GDU accumulation,” said Ehrlin. “With a good week behind us and a warm ten day forecast, we’ll see early planted corn shooting tassels before too long.” Soybeans are flowering and many are close to canopy closure.
