EU Considers Bunge-Viterra Deal

To gain regulatory approval from the European Union, Bunge and Viterra have offered to spin off certain assets. Details have not been announced. The merger between the two grain companies is valued at $34 billion. European antitrust regulators have until August 1 to make a decision.
