The wheat harvest in Oklahoma is wrapping up. Oklahoma Wheat Commission Executive Director Mike Schulte says the one exception is in the extreme northwest corner of the state. “Some producers are struggling to get it out in the Panhandle due to rain in that region; they’ve had a hiccup with the excessive moisture.” The overall quality of the crop is good considering some of the challenges seen during the growing season.
