Minnesota State Cattlemen’s Association President Jake Thompson sees the summer cattle tour as an opportunity to highlight different parts of the state. This past week’s tour was hosted by the Northwest Stockmen’s Association in Thief River Falls. “It’s great to see the tour up here in the north, there’s a lot more cow-calf and cattle operations up here than most people would expect.” Thompson said Farmfest is the next big event for the MSCA.
