Minnesota farmers planted 8.1 million acres of corn, down a half-million acres from a year ago. Soybean acres are estimated at 7.6 million, up 250,000 acres from 2023. Spring wheat acreage totals 1.5 million acres. In Minnesota, dry edible bean acres are estimated at 250,000 acres, up 40,000 acres from a year ago.
