Corn pollination is right around the corner. AgResource Company President Dan Basse expects southern portions of the Midwest to begin pollination in another week. “Temperatures will become a very interesting ingredient for corn yield,” said Basse. “Last year was very cool. We think that’s where the ear weight came from. This year we’ll see what Mother Nature gives us in terms of ear weight and temperatures for the month of July.”
