In the latest Pioneer Agronomy Update, Pioneer Field Agronomist Kevin Sinner says the current focus is on the last 25-to-35 percent of the soybeans planted. “If we look back to the previous two years, we were lucky some significant heat in late May and early June,” said Sinner. “This year, we’ve only been able to muster average temperatures and we’re right about average for GDUs.” The region has 150 to 200 percent of normal precipitation which will likley impact plant growth.
