Canadian border agents have voted to strike in a dispute over wages, retirement benefits and workplace rules. The Canadian government said it is fully committed to reaching a fair deal with the border service employees. Mediation is scheduled to begin on June 3. Canada is a leading export market for U.S. farm products and that trade is at risk if the strike moves forward.
