The importance of the farm bill legislation cannot be overstated. “It’s really important stuff and as someone who comes from the third or fourth-largest agricultural district in the country and someone who did rural broadband before coming to Congress, the stakes could almost not be higher,” said South Dakota Congressman Dusty Johnson. Johnson said this farm bill addresses many of his priorities. “Chairman Thompson has been a good leader of the team.”
