Representatives of the Canadian Pacific Kansas City Railway are saying a Canadian rail strike or lockout is not expected to happen until mid-July at the earliest. Union workers authorized a strike that could have started as soon as this Wednesday. The Canada Industrial Relations Board is reviewing the process, pushing back any potential strike or work stoppage for 60 days. The CPKC and Canadian National are both in contract talks with the labor unions.
