The man behind the RFD-TV and satellite radio’s Rural Radio 147 has died. Patrick Gottsch started his move into the broadcast business in 1991 with Superior Livestock, introducing satellite video marketing to the livestock industry. His full-time agriculture television channel, RFD-TV, was launched in 2000. In 2017, Gottsch created The Cowboy Channel, which was dedicated to western sports and the western rural lifestyle. Gottsch was 70 years old.
