The rains stopped planting for a couple of weeks but Dumont, Minnesota farmer Tom Frisch says the early spring helped them to stay on track. “We are sitting at a little over a third of our beans and corn in.” Some of the fields in Frisch’s area are still too wet but tiled grounds are allowing farmers to get back into the fields. “A lot of the guys in this area are getting the rest of their tiled ground in and letting their non-tiled ground dry out a little bit more.”
