After numerous rain delays, field conditions are improving. “The moisture helps,” said Derek Haug, regional sales manager, Thunder Seed. “We’re still dry, it was just a few days ago when we had the 40, 50 and 60 miles-per-hour winds and you saw those big dust clouds of topsoil blowing around. Even with the moisture, we’re still dry, but, we’re at least planting into some fairly good conditions.”
