Syngenta Sales Down 20% in First Quarter

The Syngenta Group had first-quarter sales of $7.4 billion, down $1.8 billion from the first quarter of 2023. Sales have continued to be impacted by destocking in the crop protection sector as distributors and retailers further reduced inventories. Crop Protection division sales declined 24 percent to $3.2 billion. Syngenta Seed sales dropped eight percent to $1.4 billion.
