Colombia is the first country to restrict imports of U.S. beef due to Bovine Influenza A. U.S. Meat Export Federation Vice President of Communications Joe Schuele said discussions are ongoing between USDA and Colombia to resolve the issue. “We continue to provide as much information as we can to USDA as they work with Colombia; we appreciate their efforts to try to resolve this situation.”
