Members learned about career opportunities during the Minnesota FFA Convention. Minnesota Turkey Growers Association Outreach and Member Services Coordinator Brandon Severns said the state’s turkey industry generates 26,000 jobs. “We’re looking at jobs like veterinarians, nutritionists, researchers, but we also have things like sales, business management, even as far as our trucking and diesel mechanics. There are so many opportunities that are directly and indirectly related to Minnesota’s turkey industry.”
