The National Wheat Foundation’s Wheat Yield 2024 Contest is underway for winter wheat with a deadline of May 15th. Foundation Chairman Bernard Peterson says that the contest is important not only for tracking yield results but testing wheat quality between harvests. “We measure not only yield but quality. From that standpoint, we need to be cognizant of not just yield but also quality. Because that’s what our end customer, that’s what they buy, our quality.” For more information about the National Wheat Yield Contest go to wheatcontest.org
