After spending time this month walking the halls of Congress, Midwest Council on Agriculture Executive Director Allison Stock said partisan politics appear to be getting in the way of any farm bill progress. “I don’t think there’s bipartisan agreement on how the farm bill would look.” A partisan bill seems more likely, which history has shown is never a good recipe for getting a farm bill done.
