Fewer farm toy shows have been on the schedule in North Dakota over the last several years. Due to an increased interest following the pandemic, Nate Schleif says it’s been fun to get a show going again in Grand Forks. “Years ago there were a number of toy shows,” Schleif said. “Over time some of the fellows that were involved in that either unfortunately passed away or no one was there to take over the show.” Schleif is a co-host of the event taking place March 15-16 at the Alerus Center and says the event is a chance for young people to use creativity to get involved in agriculture. Participants can also use their displays for 4-H or FFA projects. Find more information on the Grand Forks Farm Toy Show Facebook page. Hear the full interview with Nate Schlief here.
