A recently released biological fertilizer from Loveland Products, Terramar, can help supplement a producer’s plant fertility treatments by reducing plant stress and improving nutrient uptake. Agricen Senior Director of Commercial Development Scott Lay says they have been seeing consistent yield increases over a variety of crops and that the numbers are encouraging. “Corn average yield response is seven to nine bushels. Soybeans, the economic return is substantial, four to five bushels. In cereal grains, we’re looking at winter and spring wheat increases around three to five bushels. So we’re very pleased with the trial results.”
