Understanding Biologicals and Their Benefits

Certis Biologicals Vice President of Research and Development Shaun Berry believes biologicals are largely misunderstood because there are so many categories of them. “They can be bacteria, fungi, viruses; they can also be non-living organisms like plant extracts, volatiles, and chemicals.” Berry sees biologicals as another tool to help farmers deal with weed resistance. “It’s another mode of action.
