A bill to repeal $7.5 million in state funding for South Dakota State University to build a new dairy research facility overwhelmingly passed in the State House and is on the way to a Senate committee. This funding passed three years ago, but SDSU was unable to raise outside money for this project. The dairy research and training center is scheduled to close at the end of June.
