The South Dakota Department of Agriculture and Natural Resources is putting more emphasis on international trade. Secretary Hunter Roberts highlighted that work in an appearance before the House Agriculture and Natural Resources Committee. “In September, Lieutenant Governor (Larry) Rhoden and myself went with South Dakota Trade and five of our companies and a member from our South Dakota Soybean Research and Promotion Council to Mexico on our first trade mission in nearly nine years so it was kind of a new thing for us.”
