An Australian-based company called Loam Bio is launching a program called CarbonBuilder in the U.S. this year. Portfolio Lead Jake Olson says this is a soybean microbial seed overtreatment that builds soil carbon. “We’re not asking folks to change their practices, we’re looking to integrate into what you’re already doing, as in planting your soybeans. You don’t have to have a different pass or change your practices.” The Loam Bio system captures more carbon and protects yield. Olson said the CarbonBuilder soybean product is available through local, independent retailers. Listen to the full interview.
