The Treasury Department is expected to release its guidance for sustainable aviation fuel by the end of the year. Agriculture Secretary Tom Vilsack made that prediction in an interview with the Reuters News Service. This guidance was expected to be released in September, but there has been pushback from environmental groups. Vilsack said he is confident corn-based ethanol will qualify for the sustainable aviation fuel tax incentives.
