Seed and chemical companies were highlighted during the morning session at the Minnesota Canola Council Symposium in Roseau. Pioneer Territory Manager Jerod Hanson is seeing a growing interest in raising canola. “Part of it may be due to the processing plant being local and part of it may be the demand for oilseeds,” said Hanson. “Just like with corn ten years ago, I also think the breeders have brought some tremendous products to the market.”
