The harvest has been a tough slog for Washburn, North Dakota farmer Joe Sheldon. “Our area received 14 inches of snow in mid-October and that really slowed things down.” Sheldon says their farm still has some corn standing due to wet conditions. “Farmers have to have a little patient dealing with Mother Nature, but this has been a nice stretch of weather the last two weeks.”
