A pair of Minnesota turkeys will receive a presidential pardon today on the South Lawn of the White House. National Turkey Federation Chairman Steve Lykken, who is president of the Jennie-O Turkey Store in Willmar, will make the presentation. The birds are named Liberty and Bell and will live out the rest of their lives at the University of Minnesota’s St. Paul campus.
