West Central Ag Services grain merchandiser Randy Zimmerman is seeing the harvest advance slowly in the Ulen, Minnesota area. “Wheels started to spin when the snow melted off and some corn was moved this week despite muddy conditions.” The corn did pick up some moisture. “We probably gained a point or two, but if the sun would shine it might dry back to what it was.” Zimmerman estimates about 20 percent of the crop is still in the field.
