More than 100 farm and food groups are working together on a campaign called ‘Farm Bill for American Families.’ These groups are calling on Congress to pass a farm bill in a timely basis. American Farm Bureau Federation President Zippy Duvall was part of an event at the National Press Club and admitted it will be difficult to get the farm bill done before the end of the year. To get the legislation done right, Duvall said these groups support a short-term extension.
