Ben Scheresky, who is from Max, North Dakota, was a national finalist for his diversified agricultural production proficiency award. Scheresky raises corn, soybeans, pinto beans, canola and cattle. After college, he plans to go back to the farm. “It’s always been my goal and it’s helped me raise money to pay for college. I’ve picked up a lot of land and I’m looking forward to it.”
