Ukraine has new rules for companies exporting wheat, corn, barley, oilseeds and other food products. Only companies that are registered with the government and have no tax debts are eligible to export grain. Up to one-third of this business is now done on a cash basis without paying taxes. This pilot program is in place through the end of 2024 and is designed to prevent corruption or abuse of the system.
