M-R Consulting owner Mark Ramsey is pleased with the sugarbeet crop in North Dakota’s Pembina County. “Deep subsoil moisture made these things grow and some timely rains at the end of August and the first part of September and it turned out to be a record crop.” Corn has been coming off at 18-to-22 percent moisture “which is very, very doable.”
