Corn harvest is rolling along in the Jamestown, North Dakota area. Terry Wanzek is pleased with the corn crop. “We didn’t get a lot of rain towards the end of summer. You can credit genetic enhancement over the years where crops are just better.” Corn moisture has been fairly dry, with Wanzek reporting moisture at 17-18 percent. “Some plants will take it directly at those moisture levels.”
