At Wendell, Minnesota, Reid Bonrud had a very dry growing season. “A couple weeks ago, we got the whole summer’s worth of rain in one shot. We got a little over six inches; it was amazing, there was almost no standing water.” Corn rootworm has been an issue this year. “There was a little bit of goosenecked, downed corn, but it’s relatively limited.”
