At Hallock, Minnesota, Kelly Erickson has been making good progress on his beets. “As long as we see dry dirt in front of us, we’re in good shape,” Erickson told RRFN. “The sugarbeets are really digging nice. We don’t want ample rain until everybody finishes sugarbeet harvest.”
