Showing livestock sparked Carley Crist’s interest in 4-H. “There’s so many opportunities in the show ring so I’ve been showing goats since I was eight years old.” 4-H taught Crist how to work hard to achieve her goals and dreams. “Showmanship is more about how you present the animal and receiving grand champion senior goat showman at the state fair was a big deal to me after working towards that goal my entire life.” Christ is a Union County 4-H member and is serving as a South Dakota 4-H Ag Ambassador.
