Ukraine set up a temporary ‘humanitarian corridor’ to move grain after Russia pulled out of the Black Sea Grain Initiative in July. To this point, only a limited number of shipments have moved through this route. Ukraine’s navy is now saying a dozen more cargo vessels are ready to enter this shipping channel. A navy spokesperson did not provide any timeline, but said it was taking precautions to protect the civilian ships when on the Black Sea.
