Canola harvest has been slower than usual this year in the Rolla, North Dakota area. Tim Mickelson says the drydown has been the issue. “The desiccated stuff is taking 14 days when it should take nine-to-ten days to dry off.” According to Mickelson, rainfall made a big difference in the yield. “To be honest, if the field was in line with a couple of thunderstorms, it made a world of difference.”
