Roy E. Abbott Futures President Roy Abbott is hearing reports of decent soybean yields in South Dakota. “We’ve got some people that were disappointed earlier with 35-to-40 (bushel per acre) yielding beans, but the later fields are yielding in the 60’s and even some 70’s.” Abbott expects corn yields to also be better than expected, but no preliminary yields have been reported.
