U.S. beef exports took a step backward in July, down 18 percent from one year ago. Beef sales to the top three markets for U.S. beef, which are South Korea, Japan and China, are below the large totals from one year ago. U.S. pork sales are up five percent year-over-year. Mexico is the leading market for U.S. pork and sales continued to be on a record pace in July.
