Barchart has released its September yield estimates, forecasting an average corn yield of 177.6 bushels per acre. That’s two-and-a-half bushels bigger than USDA’s August report and nearly six bushels larger than Pro Farmer’s estimate. The Barchart soybean estimate is at 50.7 bushels per acre. That’s just under USDA’s latest estimate and a bushel higher than Pro Farmer. The wide range in estimates will bring more attention to Tuesday’s USDA’s next supply/demand report.
