The Minnesota Beef Ambassador Program applications are open for youth and young adults. Program Coordinator Rosemary Gustafson says this is an opportunity for young beef industry enthusiasts to learn and advocate for the industry. “It is a big commitment with monthly meetings and there is some travel to different educational events and ambassadors can help with bull sales, county and state fairs.” Gustafson says the program was life changing for her children. “It’s the people you meet. They’re lifetime connections in the industry.” Ambassadors will receive scholarships up to $750 after completing the program and fulfilling the requirements. Applications can be found by visiting mncattlewomen.org or the Minnesota Beef Expo website. The deadline to apply is October 10th. Listen to the full interview with Rosemary Gustafson here.
