Pioneer Field Agronomist Eric Lagge led the crop tour Wednesday. “The overarching theme for this spring is that everyone started wet before it dried out. That caused our crops to root down really well and caused all the crops to hang on better than expected.” Lagge has been in a lot of fields and reports the corn is filled right to the tip even with a lack of rain. Soybeans are podding to the top. “Harvest is approaching fast and I think we’re going to get started on soybeans in a few weeks.” Here’s the link to the video.
