This summer’s hot and dry weather will continue to influence the weather pattern going into fall. World Weather Incorporated Senior Ag. Meteorologist Drew Lerner expects mid-September to be very cool. “I’m not suggesting we’re going to have a colder-than normal autumn, but I think the air is running low on humidity.” Lerner expects the drier air to amplify cold fronts leading to possible frost and freezes in September.
