Seventy-five percent of the certified crop advisors surveyed are moderately or very concerned about the issue of herbicide resistance in the next five years. Cost is seen as the biggest factor in driving farmer decisions on the topic. Iowa State University conducted the survey of nearly 400 certified crop advisors. It also found a perception that fatigue has set in and farmers are sick of hearing about the resistance issue.
