In the Kennedy, Minnesota area, Rob Rynning has finished his barley harvest. “Quality looks really good, but barley can handle drier conditions like we had this summer.” The wheat crop is much more variable. Rynning has wheat measuring 18 inches to knee high in fields that are just over two miles apart, with big differences in quality and readiness.
