NDSU Extension Williston Weed Specialist Charlemagne Lim says the wheat harvest in western North Dakota is on hold due to the recent rain. “I saw some harvesters going further north near the Montana border where it’s drier, but most harvesting operations are inactive right now.” In addition to spring wheat, Lim says the barley, durum and pulse crops are ready to go.
