The entire state of Minnesota is dealing with abnormally dry conditions. “Most of the corn in Minnesota is under some sort of drought, but it’s quite variable,” reports Jeff Coulter, corn agronomist, University of Minnesota Extension. “The corn is mostly in the milk stage where drought stress could result in the loss of the upper kernels.” Coulter expects an early corn harvest this season.
