U.S. Custom Harvesters board member John Dyke is moving to south Texas for the cotton harvest. “Down in South Texas, the Rio Grande Valley area has been hit with the drought 2 later on. When they started planting, they actually had good moisture going in but then some of the later stuff started drying out pretty bad.” Dyke expects the yield to be down a bit from the average with expectations of a bale to a bale and a half per acre.
